Before you book
Primarily high schools and their communities: rising seniors, upper-school students, faculty, parents, and leadership teams. I also speak to undergraduates and at education conferences. Sessions are always tuned to the specific audience in the room.
My work is grounded in doctoral research on intellectual virtues as well as personal and professional experience, and it is built as an experience where lecture and activity complement one another. Schools leave with language, routines, and a handout they keep using, not just a good feeling that fades by the weekend.
New England is home and where I work most often, so travel there is simple. I do travel more widely for keynotes and multi-day engagements. Tell me where you are and we will make it work.
Keynotes run 45 to 60 minutes. Student workshops run 60 to 120 minutes. Faculty PD comes in half-day and full-day formats, and culture work runs across a school year.
A short conversation about your community and mission, plus a sense of the outcome you want. From there, I’ll draw up a proposal for an event built around your goals. The less generic the goal, the better the session.
